I really liked Portland, I loved Eugene and the coast and the mountains
ahhhhhh! that was God’s country for real!
never been to seattle”
If I didn’t live in Brooklyn, I’d live in Portland (assuming choices are in USA alone). I LUUURRVVE Portland so much. I’m always tempted to move there.
The only thing is that the last time I was there, I had a Brooklyn bag with me and everyone kept going on and on about how they wanted to live in Brooklyn and of course when I said I loved Portland they were like…”WANNA SWITCH?”
Makes me wonder what I’m not seeing as someone who just goes to visit (I mean, I know some of the downsides…unemployment, lack of diversity, homelessness, ect) but I do really really adore Portland.

IS this good for them to “move on”? am not trying to sound cold – am just wondering if this is a good thing for these families to experience this intense grief year after year at these tributes?
well for what it’s worth a lot of those families made out like bandits from this tragedy, and they also seem to like to see themselves on tv. that’s probably cold too but it seems like the reality.
just look at the one victim who became tiger woodsey’s mistress~!

um no, 1.) i am not a gold diggin’ triflin ho and 2.) i really don’t have anything offer someone with money! i mean unless they are like 80 years old maybe. sorry my name is no anna. 3.) all those creepy older gay guys with money pretty much only go for teenagers.

Rob, no one said there’s no tradeoffs for the security of dating/sleeping/etc with a rich dude

I picture 11217 as Joe Gillis living in Norma Desmond’s house in the Hollywood Hills.

Gem – NO. Not at all.

Thank you for clearing that up, seriously. I hadn’t heard that before either, and it sure as hell didn’t sound right.
“now how do i go about wooing a rap star?”
Get some money…
Seattle is really nice, too. But the best part of Seattle is leaving the city and going over to the Olympics or south to Mt. Ranier.
