Getting ridiculous? It’s been ridiculous for quite awhile. What I thought was an “acute” condition appears to be morphing into a “chronic” condition. Me hopes that you being younger, Gem, will have better luck than my sorry ass middle-aged self.

My best yen trade was getting my US Salary fixed in yen at 350 to the dollar. While I was there, the G7 (then) realignment rallied the yen to 110 to the dollar. I never bought anything there — not that clothes fit anyway — and came home with a lot of cash. I found a shoe place there when I was desperate for a pair of shoes from a store that sold my size. I think the name of it was BIG FOOT. My feet are apparantly 1/2 size bigger than the biggest size they used to sell in Department stores. I bought shoes when I came home.

um, well for what it’s worth i would cross the street if it was a giant pack of white, asian, or hispanic kids. but we were talking about black kids in that thread. and when i say kids, i mean males between the age of 12 and 20. if i saw 15 black chicks coming the street i’d probably join in, and actually HAVE in the past. insinuating im racist is just ridiculous.
