  1. Pete, I’ve seen the same stats about gay men earning more than straight. I can’t remember where I saw it, though.

I have a tendency to think that anyone with extreme views on homosexuality is in the closet. You despise what you are.

I just had a sudden craving for fried chicken and a st germain based cocktail.

I really hate sitting next to my chatty azz coworkers. They talk about chick ish all day long. No one wants to hear all that irrelevent drama.

  2. “sorry JB but I’m having hard time believing you would be cool with that. I see you wearing the pants in the marriage – not that you’re bossy or anything but allowing a dude to marry multiple girls just seems beneath you.”

It would certainly depend on the dynamics of the group. Did you see Vicky Christina Barcelona? Something like that doesn’t seem totally unworkable. Neither woman in that scenario seemed to me to be taken advantage of. If that’s your thing – no reason the govt should stop you.

  3. 11217 — Thomas Jefferson? Next you’ll be quoting James Madison and his absurd notion called the Bill of Rights! Get with the program. Oppression is perfectly fine as long as you can justify it by misreading scripture.

  4. MM’s post reminded me of how crazy the electoral boundaries are.
At my new NYC place I am in a Williamsburg centered council district, a BH / CH centered Assembly district, a Crown Heights based State Senate district and a Flatbush based Congressional district. (Levin, Millman, Adams, Clarke).
Can’t imagine any of those elected representatives has my little neck of the woods at the center of their attention.

Likewise when I lived on the UWS we had the same Congressman as Coney Island, with about five different districts covering the intervening 10+ miles.

  5. Brooklyn Bridge Park movie tonight is Brokeback Mountain. DIBS is taking BrooklynGrouch.

uh, Denton…where did you come up with that stat about gay men out-earning….? adjusted for area of country? education level? I don’t buy it. Perhaps could argue more disposable income
