LMFAO! just overheard conversation while i was filing…some girl in my office asked another girl where there was an urban outfitters in brooklyn cuz she said she bought something there, then one says, they are also opening up a barney’s. and the other one in a totally valley girl accent was like really?? in brooklyn? that’s SoOOoO weird. hahahah
“i dont think stuyvesant town was a waste of taxpayer money back when it was first built as it was affordable housing for the TRULY middle and working class.”
our media is failing on all levels.
“race-baiting” is the least of the problems.
our established “media” is not even reporting important
stories in an objective manner.
They have chosen sides and both sides are digging in.
There is a reason that the press is singled out for it’s important role in our society, by the Constitution.
The NY Times, ABC news, CBS, Time magazine have as much to do with true reporting today as NASA has to do with space exploration. The major media is a failure because they look down on any view that does not fall in line with their overwhelmingly liberal tendencies.
I don’t need the opinion of some moron news editor living on the upper west side, I need the facts as they stand.
In case you missed the latest story about NASA, the current administration has redefined their mission,
NASA’s new mission is to explore the middle east. I kid you not.
I also agree that both the NAACP and the gubment should have immediately been suspicious of anything put forth by these clowns, especially the guy who put together the highly edited story in the first place. They should have checked it out independently instead of having a knee-jerk reaction to it, and condemning this woman. They are so afraid of being accused of racial favoritism that they bend over backwards to appear “fair”. Don’t worry about fair, worry about being right.

Solution for renmindi simple, just cut minimum wage 40% to match.

I thought Washington’s complaint was that the yuan is undervalued (‘flood of cheap exports’ etc) rather than overvalued.
