I can be as kinky as the next guy, ET, but I draw the line at showering with grouse.

Racism is so last century. The only reason we have races is because of historical lack of mobility and geographic boundaries. White people in Europe had to fuck other white people in Europe and make white babies. Asian people in Asia had to fuck other Asians and make Asian babies. Etc. Now we’ve got airplanes and everybody is fucking everybody else. 10 generations from now there won’t be any more races. My great great great great great great great great grandkids will all be light brown with kind of slanty eyes, and so will all of yours. Best thing we can do for world peace is get this all moving faster. So do your duty! Fuck someone who doesn’t look like you! do it for world peace!!

Then they compared journalists’ attitudes to their coverage of controversial issues such as the safety of nuclear power, school busing to promote racial integration, and the energy crisis of the 1970s. The authors concluded that journalists’ coverage of controversial issues reflected their own attitudes, and the predominance of political liberals in newsrooms therefore pushed news coverage in a liberal direction. They presented this tilt as a mostly unconscious process of like-minded individuals projecting their shared assumptions onto their interpretations of reality.”
