Perfect example is what’s happening in Kyrgyzstan right now. They are slaughtering Kazaks there and those two look EXACTLY alike and have the same religion and ancestry. Still blaming each other for crap.
You guys TOTALLY misunderstood my “doesn’t matter how segregated it is now” comment. I didn’t mean we shouldn’t care or it isn’t a problem now. I meant it is irrelevant to the ultimate outcome of race mixing. How segregated humans are now does not matter w/r/t the inevitable process of mixing. All that matters is the macro movement of humans – and once that has happened the mixing will inevitably take place.
It’s not the Lehman bankruptcy lawyers who are getting these fees but the restructuring firm.. it will be the most expensive Chapter 11 case ever BUT there were $1 TRN of claims filed and by and large it has been without significant controversy and diputed creditor issues have been at a minimum.
And yes, I know who works there at the actual law firm.
I agree with most of his/her political views as well.
I really really want to add my share to this whole race mixing. All I need is to find a hot latina and I promise to do my share :o).
Unfortunately racism/sexism/biggotry is part of humanity and even if we all looked the same in ten generations, people will always find a way to exclude one another (short vs tall, open eyes vs a little bit closed eyes, hair color, eye color, ear size, etc etc).
sure it’s no secret that black Americans vote overwhelmingly with the Democat party.
but that in itself does not place the Republican
party on poor footing,
if anything, to me, it is an indication of the
success of the Democat party to cater to certain
demographics.
not an indication of a nafarious social agenda
on the Republican side.
In other words, does the fact that the Cuban population
in Floida is largely Republican an indication
that they are somehow alligned with a lager
scheme of race baiting?
CGar, Well, you probably had your own bathroom as well. : “P”
Well, yes, of course. Didn’t everyone? Though that was before we lost all our money to Bernie Madoff and CDog and I was forced to rent a tent on your deck.
More importantly, what did you buy me and CDog??? 😉
“Doesn’t matter at all how segregated it is right now.”
Actually it does, to the people who continue to suffer the impact of racial discrimination, which still exists, no matter how much you’d like to ignore its presence. We have definitely come a long way in this country in terms of race and racism. But the fight is far from over, regardless of what certain folks would like us to believe.
“Cobble, trying to get people to be free of racism is like pushing on a string. You can keep pushing as hard as you want, but it ain’t going anywhere. You’re a racist, I’m a racist, everybody’s a racist.”
If we accepted that kind of thinking, the civil rights movement end of Jim Crow government would never have happened. It’s called a cop-out.
Hey lechacal, I see the good mood is holding, so I’m guessing D-Day is not too far off??? Any big August plans???

I like Huck Finn’s approach to racism. He loved Jim. Period. And if he had to go to hell for loving his buddy Jim, well then he would.
