  1. donatella,

    …right,
and if a flatworm gets bored
it just splits itself in two
    or four. 😉

really though, I read that the
    researcher at the Salk institute
has been able to extend worm life
    which may translate to humans
    at some point.

  2. Sounds like the benson v. bennie IP suit may have been settled, notwithstanding their glaring political differences (did we get a retainer, CG?). Wonder how biff champion v. death star is going?

meanwhile, reading between the lines, is benson really friends with a cross-dressing democratic assembly speaker?

also, I’ve heard that too, cobble, about LEED (and from environmentalists, not business-types). The points are skewed. Monitoring green compliance sometimes involves power-sucking equipment. There’s also the problem that, at baseline, we are all so much more plugged in than we used to be that the increased power drain is greater than the benefit of increased efficiency. That said, I know of some great buildings that are beautiful, functional and incredibly ecological.

  3. M4L, I actually thought I had the dimmer on in my bedroom since the lights were dimmer than usual, i.e. uncomfortable reading – The other day I noticed the lights flickering, but last night they just seemed to be not completely lit.

  4. Okay, enough of the transgender fun of yesterday, everyone alternately referring to me as man or woman. I am a she, not a he.

Benson, I don’t recognize the name of your wife’s friend. Lots of houses on that long block! I went to St. Athanasius elementary school on Bay Parkway and 61st Street. I graduated 8th grade in 1974, and we were a very close knit group of kids. We have had many reunions, and I will be in Brooklyn the weekend of September 25 for our “We are so old, everyone is turning 50 this year” Celebration. It will be in the school auditorium! Haha
