  1. kens,

    Re: prosciutto — You are right. I try to keep my disagreements with benson respectful.

    Reminds me (in a loose way) of Chevy Chase’s line on SNL weekend update. He quoted a Teamsters spokesman on the anniversary of Jimmy Hoffa’s death, saying “he will always be a cornerstone in the organization.”

  2. btw,
    why did bxgrl just abandon us like that?
    she could stop in every so often and
    say hi. ;(

    I think about her too, Legion! I think she got busy
    with her art, but I noticed that she dropped out
    after a really nasty time with the character who is no longer here.

    for the past couple of days.

  7. Bennie;

    You’re a couple of years younger than me. I graduated St. Simon in 1971. My grammar school class still gets together once a year at -where else? – Spumoni Gardens.

    I didn’t know many kids from “St. A’s”, as everybody used to call it. I did know quite a few girls from Bishop Kearny High School, however, because “that’s where the girls were”
    ;-).

    Do you know the present pastor of St. A’s, Monsignor Casata? He is quite a character. He is a chaplain to the police department. Wherever he travels, police escorts suddenly and magically appear.
