I am afraid of fireworks. I grew up on Staten Island where everybody knew somebody who lost a finger or something and you never knew when somebody was going to fire some rocket past your head. I have set off packages of firecrackers though and viewed sparklers as pretty ho hum.

That happened to me once a while back in Park Slope near the 4th. Some idiot threw a cherry bomb off a roof which went off right near me. I guess these days he would be hunted down.

DH, would need to know more details, but the point of HDMI is that it is a single cable that carries digital audio and video. Why use all those cables when you can use one? Also if you are using a cable that has a yellow RCA plug to carry video you are _definitely_ not getting good as good visuals as you would with HDMI.
