“Morton’s is in a bldg adjacent to Marriott, not the same one. I haven’t been to M’s but I think it’s a styled franchise so if you’ve been to one…”
It’s still obviously the one to which DeLepp was referring. It’s pretty much attached to the Marriot, just not technically inside it. What do you mean not the same one?
One of the squirrel nights, I stayed at the Marriott downtown. It is exactly as you expect – the same exact Marriott hotel you will find in any big city.
wait, isnt there a ferry that goes to sandy hook? the nearest jersey beach? sandy hook is a shi+hole too supposedly, but i can put up with that if it’s a direct ferry ride. are people allowed to swim in prospect park lake?
rob – The rich people go to the Hamptons in helicopters or amphibious planes. They don’t go shopping – it’s done for them. The riff-raff is all you’d see.
i thought long beach was a ghetto shi+ hole? wasnt there an article about it in the new york times just a few weeks ago about the area is slowly turning around? i dont wanna go to a beach in transition. what is robert moses beach like?
If you have to go to the Hamptons, think about going the extra distance and trying Montauk. It’s a little less bananas. There are some affordable restaurants in town, there’s an IGA (?) to the east of town, and there are some beautiful beaches. Only hitch is, it’s a literal hike from the train to the beach. But there are taxi’s.

Thanks, benson. I’ll check it out.
All of the Morton’s that I’ve ever been in have very little ambiance, certainly none compared to Keen’s

DIBS, it’s on Adams Street, just east of Cadman Plaza
