rob, why do you want to go to the Hamptons?? Don’t you know it’s swarming with the worst of the worst of New Yorkers?
what makes them the worst of the worst? i thought it was real rich people and celebrities. like i said yesterday i have zero problems with REAL rich people, in fact i wish i could be part of their domestic help sometimes hahah.
Rob, find the most expensive Manhattan gourmet grocery shop and then double the prices, that is what things cost in the Hamptons. Even the NY Times used to be double the regular price in the delis.

I’ve never been on the Jitney and I never will be. Imagine a busload of annoying, loud bad NY accents all trying to one-up one another as to their destination.
I think I now understand the “cratch my eyeballs” out analogy.
add that to his yuppie creds…..now checking out transportation modes to the Hamptons.
Did you get a share there for the summer?

The train is a better way to travel out there, Rob. No traffic, roughly on-time, cheaper, but can be crowded depending on time of day you travel.

Oh heavens, it sounds even worse than a PLUSA gathering!

rob – It would depend on what mood you were in that day & which bus you were on – ones taking off from different spots have different “personalities.”
