rf..from where can you get even decent Chinese or thai delivered to bed Stuy????

Not decent! We settle for edible! Sushi Tatsu has a Thai menu now, prepared and delivered along with their Japanese food by Fujianese Chinese. We still call the one in Crown Heights North since it’s programmed in my phone, although they just opened a new place on Bedford at Jefferson. Eagle City on Fulton St. in Clinton Hill (near the C at Clinton Washington) delivers Chinese and Mexican food to us; it’s not very good but not as bad as the places in our neighborhood. But we are on Marcy and you live farther in–not sure if they will deliver that far.

I like the Happy Chinese Restaurant at the entrance to Clinton-Washington at Washington but they don’t deliver very far.

  2. m4l, I used to believe in “shoot to wound.” But I changed my stance some time ago. Anybody with a firearm who is intent on harming anyone does have a grasp on civilized be havior and will never learn. They have no concept of the snctity or value of human life. Shoot to kill teaches lessons. The gun issue is way out of control in most urban areas and these cretins need to learn they’re going to die. It is the only deterent.

Besides, “shoot to wound” costs the state too much money to prosecute and imprison and it’s a 95% foregone conclusion that they come out worse than they went in.

It’s interesting where this woman is coming from. She felt, as I did too once, that undue force is being used. Yet, as she admits, she doesn’t know what the situatoon is like for the cops and is a bit wishy washy on it herself.

    I was easily baited.

  3. CGar, you might be right. the one I was referring to has Virginia and N. Carolina locations that I don’t see listed on their site. but it looks like that Grand St one rf was referring to is part of that group. if the SOHO one is much better than the Grand St one then you’re right. if it’s comparable, I stick by my “not bad but NOT great”

  4. m4l, FWIW, I don’t think the ones you’re mentioning are related to the Penangs that etson and I are talking about. I only know of the ones in SoHo, UWS, and UES, and they also have a branch in Boston.

    LOL, Biff.
