Gem, I went too, and had a great time. I went with Amzi and a friend of his. I know what you mean about the comments. The line for the Garfield house was quite long, and as I was standing there, right next to the front door, I overheard some woman coming out saying, “That was awful, I can’t believe I stood in line for all that time for THAT.” I thought the house was quite cool, and I certainly save any comments I might have for about three blocks away, not in front of the person who spent their time and money to put their house on a frigging tour for critics.
Thanks, What. I have the HDMI output on a new TV so I’ll try it with that tonight. Simple as connecting with an HDMI cable from laptop to TV? (Sorry for the stupid questions).
” why is there always someone on a house tour that acts like they know everything and are hell-bent on criticising the owners choices ” — sounds like brownstoner reader.
“Any techie geeks out there? I saw the commercial for Windows 7 that indicates one can stream pictures, videos, etc. from one’s laptop to the television. I knew that could be done via Xbox, but how can one do it without an Xbox?”

Biff, please keep asking the stupid questions. I’m taking copious notes.

The What
Someday this war is gonna end…
“Yeah, Rob, Call 411 during an emergency. :-)”
Or call 911 and ask where you can catch the ferry to Governor’s Island.
Male tubes and sausage vendors.
I bet DIBS is pissed off he missed the fair.
Yeah, Rob, Call 411 during an emergency. 🙂
P.S. And, yes, there were repeated vendors… but not that much. And some repeats are appreciated (like the corn and sausage vendors…)
