  1. I have to agree with DCB and Dave, as unlikely a coupling as they are. Very little inventory. Heavy pent-up demand. Prices are not coming down, they’re going up.

    Check out this recent 40% price increase (which, mind you, I think is totally ridiculous):

    I really like that house – am sorta not surprised by an all cash offer and I wouldn’t be surprised if that offer came in at 999K all cash
    I think it’s a bit overprices at 1.15K as it seems it would still need some updating like the pic of the kitchen looks old – right?

  3. Return of real estate market insanity? Or just a well-priced house in a good location?

    I saw the house below yesterday, and I was going to ask all of you to brutally critique it, as I was seriously considering it. But, my broker just emailed me that she can’t arrange a second showing for me, and that if I’m interested I have to make my decision based on my 15-minutes spent at yesterday’s Open House. Also, the buyer is now accepting only all-cash offers because there were about 100 people at the OH, and she already has several offers. I told her I’ll pass and keep looking.
