  1. tybur6,
the Russian Orthodox Chapel at Dachau
was built to honor the 6000 Russian POW’s
    executed there.

    get your facts straight.

    It’s culturally insensitive,
    in location
    in timing
    in scope

you choose not to see it as such because you are in favor of a sort of appeasement.
I don’t give that sort of credit.

as I stated, perhaps when the 1 billion “non-radicalized” muslims team up and get rid of the problem,
then I will be more willing to give favorable terms.

  2. My dog basically functions as the son I never had. He is so rambunctious, just like I would have liked my son to be. That is why I’m upset that he is sedated these days. Hopefully, in a week or so we can reduce the sedatives. It’s been one week without seizures!

  3. LEGION
FINALLY!!! – I can argue against a point you made
Dio actually was hired AFTER Ozzy in the late 70’s early 80’s when Black Sabbath and Ozzy parted ways!!!
    your statement was wrong!

  4. Saw a big rally Thursday on 3rd ave and 40th Street. Seems like it was all NYS workers complaining about the furloughs. There musta been 200. All I could think is what the fuck do all these people actually DO? I thought most of the state employees were prison guards.

  5. “No, I meant halal, just like I could say I like kosher food (if that was true).”

    Okay, so what’s Halal Food??

Besides the ‘typical Halal Mid-East Food’….I’ve had Halal Italian, Halal Indian, Halal Chinese, Halal Thai, Halal Mexican.

In this case I’m not sure I know what you’re defining as Kosher Food.

  6. “The Nazis were Christians. Is it “insensitive” that there are Christian chapels on the grounds of Dachau?”

Ugh, I’m going to go from Agnostic to Atheist by the end of today…

  7. “pay particular attention to recruiting efforts on Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn.”

    Oh Dear Allah!!
    Legion, really???
Go spend some time with Muslim people.

“I wouldn’t have a problem with the mosque anywhere else in the city,”
I don’t think the downtown area has a mosque. Muslims living/working in the area would have to trek north (closest mosque I believe is on 11th street and 2nd or 1st ave).
Do they not have a right to have a house of worship near them?
