Kens, I actually prefer Reubens for smoked meat in Montreal. Schwartz’s meat is too fatty for me (re-write?), even when I ask for extra lean, which I know is sacreligious, but I just hate fatty pastrami and corned beef. I would rather have my meat less fatty, even if it means less juicy (re-write?).
“I am refraining from crafing a witticism about CGar’s observation that Jesus’s DIY carpentry project was successful. I can’t figure out how to make it funny without offending.”
That was Biff, Slopey. Easy mistake. People often confuse me and Biff (and Biff is often confused), the way that most people tell us apart is that Biff is the tall, good-looking one (no homo), and I am not. By all means, offend away, especially if you’re aiming your fire at Biff.
“Where is Schwartz’s in Montreal? Maybe I should check it out when I am there over July 4th weekend.”
It’s on Boulevard Saint-Laurent, right in the middle of all of the bars and restaurants. St. Laurent is where most of the French partygoers hangout and Crescent Street is more English (and where the annoying groups of drunken Bostonians hang out). I prefer St. Laurent.
JB, I only ordered it cause they made it sound so good and I had ginger cookies before so I figure hey, how bad can a vegan ginger cookie be. Well, I answered my own question… I took a bite and that was enough for me to puke in my mouth a little.
Don’t do it if it has the Nazi-like work rules. It’s not worth saving money on vegetables to have your free time taken away.
Slopey- he did 😉

“Someone stop me.”
Don’t do it. I enjoy it too much when you post the cereal specials from that low-rent market by you.

Nope, CarGar, not according to PropShark. We can still get it.
