Biff, sooo true. Been to both streets. Didn’t realize Schwartz’s is right there. I am staying right of St. Laurent smack in the middle by old Montreal.
dibs – Nothing to add about figs. My garden diary indicates that a lot of things are early but that’s really early. A few of my reliable early tulips didn’t come back this year at all but others were 2 weeks ahead of usual. I think our Zone 7 subdivision is going to be recalibrated again soon. Friends of mine in other Z-7 are way behind us.
Jessi, I didn’t order bagels. I’m more of a fan of New York bagels than Montreal bagels and even when I go to Montreal and we have a chance to bring home dozens of Montreal-style bagels, I don’t bother doing it. Not to mention they have a number of places in Toronto to get Montreal-style bagels now too, so it’s not much of a novelty for me.
Speaking of cereal specials.
Target had the big box of Honey Nut Cheerios for $3.39
They had coupons on their website for .55cents off Honey Nut Cheerios. I printed a bunch.
And I am staring at 10 boxes of my favorite cereal, that I don’t know where to put, that I got for $2.84 each.

“Vegan baked goods”, no wonder they’re all skinny.
