In all seriousness, CGar, I’d do the Habitat for Humanity project. Not just because it’s in Crown Heights, either. I personally think their programs provide the best bang for the buck, pun intended. You get to help build or rehab a buillding with the people who will be living there right next to you. They are working towards their own betterment and future, and you get to meet people for whom a decent home is everything. The other projects are great, but what’s cleaning up bottles from a park compared to being a part of such a greater good?
BTW, they have all kinds of things you can be a part of in each project that even a tool-challenged person of the Hebrew persuasion can manage.

I spent a half hour or so speaking with Judy Stanton last night. Lovely lady. The kind of woman I always envision when Jester speaks about the ladies of BH whom he wines and dines.

Maybe award a GOTD nomination, but not the actual award.
CGar, why don’t you spend a day at a finishing school (re-write?) and teach people how to be exclusive so they can live in BH one day?

i think you should get a big bucket and some soap and go around washing homeless peoples feet. that would be a good deed for them (ever notice how they hardly ever wash their feet!?)
