bxgrl, that is chump change to Ratner. I’m sure this is a kic in the groin to all of you that actually believed he was fighting for truth, justice and the American way.
He’s been doing this for what, 7 years now??? After tax, i don’t think it’s really worth it!!!
I agree with that DIBS, people who show up to protest when it was a personal thing, I don’t get it. However – people love to be morally outraged. That is not so surprising.
I’m not an AY fan, but if we’re going to do it, wish it would have gotten started back when there was money. Now we all get to look at a giant hole for a generation and he’s off to LA (one assumes)
It’s not hating. It’s honest observations on my first hand experiences with them. They pretty much put out an average amount of effort for a relatively mindless job.
“Why isn’t there similar outrage for the financial services guys that got their crazy bonuses and raises.”
Are you serious? You haven’t seen any outrage in the news?
Why- because he fought AY practically to a stand still and still made Ratner pay up? Oh no no no- I think DG just made a huge fool of ratner. Perhaps you’re just jealous dave.
All he wanted from day one was MORE MONEY. He wanted to juice the developer for more money than he was entitled to. And that’s what he got. Don’t you gullible idiots out there realize that this is EXACTLY why we have eminent domain? To keep this guy’s grubby little paws off of money that should be going to build a great project instead of hushing up the guy who was just a squeakier wheel than everyone else and pretended to fight some kind of noble cause until he got the money he wanted???

“He bought his condo in 2003 for $590,000”
ROFLMMFAO. Sold it for almost 6x that seven years later.
I bet he rolls his profits into a block of FCR stock.
He better high tail it out of town lest one of the crazy DDDB NIMBYs that actually believed in what they were doing wacks him.
