I HATE that crap!
When my last major place of employ went through a medium level management shake up, they decided that one way to increase confidence in the staff/partners was to re-work the mission and corporate values statements!
It made me GAG. It’s always such complete and utter BS, everyone knows it, and yet they persist in doing it!! And posting it all over the internet, extranet, internal brochures, etc. ad nauseum!! Everyone gags and makes fun of it, and then the rest perpetuate it! YECCH!
Lech, knowing you, you rather try this and flame out then to hear later someone else taking the gig and prosper. Regret is a constant nagging bitch that wont go away. if you think you can be a good CEO and the firm’s prospects are going to be good, roll the dice. I too think you’re a smart lawyer who wont have trouble finding work. Leaving for this gig is not going to burn bridges at work as it would be if you went to another law firm
