  1. Lech;

    I think folks above have given you good advice, so I’ll just add good luck!

    Thanks. I don’t apply some type of ideological litmus test to my friends too.

  3. Petebrookyn….PS….hate current usage of ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ for mother and father…not as term of address but as in “how’s your mom?”
    or ” my dad blah blah blah”.. that sounds like 6 year old talk.

    Me too. Mom and Dad are appelations, “Hi Mom, Hi Dad”. I CANT STAND referring to people as Moms and Dads. When did THAT start? Hockey MOMS! (AAAHH)

    Denton, My God, I can’t tell you how sick I was about that whole thing; shit, it used to be “Mother Merrill”, they called it a “employee trust at the shareholder’s expense” as a joke, a company which had a great retail network, innovative products, treated employees like gold. The shift started with Stan O’Neil and his scaling down of the traditional businesses and his concentration on investment banking/prop trading. Nobody knew how deep and screwed up things were. M4L, you are right about the investment banks being too “black box”, though this is going to change. Ah, well, it’s in the past. Can’t keep crying over spilt milk….
