  1. oh quick question if anyone is still here, i have to make potato chip dip for easter… what’s a good cheap dip to make? i was actually thinking of just using a mix of plain yogurt and sour cream with random spices?

  2. I don’t know about Rutger’s undergraduate programs, but their graduate programs are (generally speaking) very highly regarded and quite competitive. Since it’s the state university for NJ, I’m assuming its admission standards for undergraduate are probably lower than the Ivy League, of course.

That being said, Rutger’s is one of America’s original “Colonial Colleges,” chartered in in 1766 by the Tyrant King George as Queen’s College. It was established by ministers of the Dutch Reform Church as an alternative to the College of New Jersey (aka Princeton).

  3. One kid who has never had less than A+ at Trinity, takes part in extra-curriculars, etc. was rejected at Yale, wait-listed at Harvard. Got into Columbia, Wesleyan, Penn, Northwestern & Rice who offered her un-looked-for $84,000. academic scholarship.
A kid in the top 3% at Stuy rejected at MIT & Stamford, wait-listed at Harvard & into Cornell & a 30-person elite program at Penn.
Another in top of class – rejected by Bowdoin & another same at Williams.
    WTF?
