wow kids log on the computer to find out if they were accepted? now i feel really really old. i had a pretty stress free time applying for colleges cuz i only bothered applying to one, and i did it super early. for some reason i was under the impression that i could only afford the in state state school and that you couldnt get loans if it wasnt a state school or scholarships if you went out of state :-/ and so that’s how i wound up at rutgers in jersey. i did like it, but i must admit i was sorta shocked to find out that college was actually 10x easier than high school. sometimes i wonder where id be today if i went to a school like harvard lol, obviously i would never have gotten into harvard, but i probably should have aimed a little higher than rutgers. ah well. i really had a horrible guidance counselor in high school. the only people he gave any attention to were the ones on the verge of dropping and failing out.
my only major interaction with him was senior year when he called me into his office and said that he was concerned that he saw me sitting on the concrete wall by the lake and that i looked depressed. how is one supposed to look sitting by a lake and reading or writing in their journal!? one stupid conversation led to another to another and he was like well since your 18 i have to either call your grandmother or the cops (which was a hard decision to make btw). i opted for my grandmother and she wound up calling him some very harsh things and then i never spoke to the idiot again.
CarGar – He probably doesn’t like the whole get-together thing although the lead-up to them usually ups the count. Maybe that’s why he made the logo so small on the tees – so that when we go out we’re not advertising our sponsor.
Alrighty you losers…time for me to go get some sunshine. Happy Bunny & Dyed Egg Day everyone!

So, Dave, he says, “They always expect him home on Easter Sunday.” And I said, “What do they want you to do? Lay an egg?”.

I’m sure it’s the holiday, A LOT of people over here are away this weekend. Left earlier this week.
Cargar, I suspect the holiday weekend is more to blame for folks being MIA.
