I love watching my guys catch flies but it is so disgusting when they eat them and then come over to get petted with little hairy legs hanging out of their mouths. Ugh. Of course DIBS will have some esoteric insectoid food story from the exotic lands to counter my distaste 🙂
“Has he been bankrupt three times, or was it only twice?”
I’m guessing Trump has been bankrupt as many times as he’s been married.

I always wondered about when he was going to remove that thing from his head he calls hair. This morning I saw a clip from MSNBC where Mika Bryzynski actually touched his pompadour thing and lifted it up a little and it was super hairsprayed laying over his forehead. She sort of approached it like a wild lizard on the nature channel. She looked relieved it didn’t attack her.

Denton,
Are you certain of that? Consider:
-The European nations generally have a much higher debt-to-gdp ration thanthe US. Ditto for Japan.
-All of these nations with high social democracy are in demographic decline. I was in Norway a few weeks ago and was astounded to find that the sales tax is 25%. 25%!!!!!!
Is it any wonder that folks in these countries have only one child?
-You know I’ve said this before: name ONE new industry that either Japan or Europe has created in the past 25 years. Where is the European Google, or Intel, or Cisco?
Legion, what pertinent ideas are being discussed that inform people? All I hear here is a bunch of whining. And to be fair, you aren’t the only whiner in my estimation.
These aren’t direct quotes, but all that goes on here is:
sure the problems are complex,
but is the route we are taking moving us to a better place?
I’m sure you would have agreed in the past with the illustrious Mr.Sean Penn, friend to the common man and to dictators alike.
tell me now if you would still agree with Mr. Penn as his friend Chavez in Venezuela just arrested the last of the independent television station owners.
It’s kind of hard to support a man who is working for “the people” when he’s busy arresting those that voice opinions against him. I seem to recall all manner of reasonable folks telling us that Sean Penn is just trying to get a better angle on the “complex” nature of the subject, a more
“informed” view of the problem.

“…to taste the sea, all you need drink is one cup”
I don’t like hairy legs, bxgrl. 😛
funny thing,
our very discussion misses the point I made earlier;
folks,
WE CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY FAILURE AS A MATTER OF COURSE!
WE CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY FAILURE AS, ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY!
no it hasn’t.
The US postal service used to make money.
Social Security used to take in more than it paid out.
Medicare used to work effectively and not at a loss.
Medicaid used to help those in need at the same time as being solvent.
Amtrak…..don’t know if they every made money, but railways around the world make money all the time.
