  1. CGar, I actually said it from the standpoint of owning the stock. We are hoping that they pre-announce earnings because they will be better than expected. The dramatic level of hiiring around the world would seem to indicate that things are going well for the underlying banking biz.

  2. my rents are way under-market but I think the tenants still resent any increases. In fact, I sometimes wonder if I aided and abetted my one tenants unproductive paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. Is smart, educated person who ekes out a living…early years at low paying retailing and now housecleaning…and getting close to 60 years old with I’m sure little savings or insurance…Perhaps if I charged close to market over the years would have pushed him into doing more rather than just settling with getting by (subsidized by my cheap rent).

  3. Dave, I’ve heard that. Several former colleagues have approached me since I left, but, if I can avoid the temptation to respond to ET’s posts in a manner that’s likely to get me fired, I’m hoping to stay here. I’ll fill you in (no homo) when I see you next week.

m4l, “cushy” is not how I’d describe this, LOL. True, I’m managing to sneak in some time to post, but I now get in between 7:30-8am, leave anywhere from 6-9pm, work remotely as necessary, and thankfully can multitask so I’m usually working on at least 2 projects while posting. No question I do more work in a day now than I did in 1-2 weeks at my last gig.

LOL, jessi, no offense taken. They must mix Kool-Aid into the coffee, because I love the new gig and I’m not the least bit bored.

  4. CGar,

lol, no really, yesterday morning at some point
    perdida said just that.
    she even posted a link to a men’s t-shirt
company that has a very low neckline so
you can still retain the appearance of having
no undershirt if you open the top buttons.
she said it worked for her brother.
