  1. “I’ve always loved living by myself. It was terribly difficult to change when I got married and sad to say, when we split up, being single was the best part of the divorce.”

Uhhh, bxgrl, am I INVISIBLE to you today or what???

First, what part of “ironclad” prenup and postnup do you not comprehend???

B., You have your own wing in every house for you and your (damn) cats, and we have zero conjugal visits, so I really don’t know how much more “living by yourself” you could be doing.

    3. As for the divorce you keep whining about, I refer you to my First response above.

  2. oops- our posts crossed cobble.

I also want cgar to know I have changed careers. No more nights in the slammer for me, no more killing my feet in 5 in heels and paying good money for fishnet hose. No sir! I’m going to go back to school and become a lawyer, like my beloved but neglectful e-hubby, who won’t get his watch, paid for out of my hard earned salary, unless he straightens up and flies right- er- left…er……crap. Forget it.

  3. quote:
In fact, I sometimes wonder if I aided and abetted my one tenants unproductive paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. Is smart, educated person who ekes out a living…early years at low paying retailing and now housecleaning…and getting close to 60 years old with I’m sure little savings or insurance…Perhaps if I charged close to market over the years would have pushed him into doing more rather than just settling with getting by

youre just their landlord, not their shrink or their mommy. it’s none of your business how they choose to make their money. NEWSFLASH – some people LIKE living paycheck to paycheck, there’s a certain level of… i dont know, it sucks ass sometimes, but at the same time, you cant be asked to do stupid things like go to out of state weddings, visit annoying relatives, and see bad movies.

    *rob*

  4. “But you have to stick it out, work hard and be aggressive when opportunities come along. It helps that you’re single with no kids.”

    That’s what I thought — I don’t want to be a half-assed mom and have a half-assed career.

  5. “We can discuss my hooker remark later, dear. In private. When you’ll be **THWACKING** me no doubt.”

In private??? No sireee! I’m talking about it RIGHT NOW!

    ***THWACK!! THWACK!! THWACK!! THWACK!! THWACK!!***

    A. I’m not a hooker, never have been, never will be.
    b. I don’t drink vodka, or most hard liquor.
iii. I have actual WORK to do today, unlike some people who seem to get PAID to post on the internet!!
