and with that said, i do deep down think it would be great for everyone to have quality health care. but there are so many downsides, as many have pointed out.
I will prepare my point by point
good and bad report
about the new legislation
for next week.
there are good things in it:
like the establishment of a high risk pool.
but being that it’s Friday afternoon and
we all want to have a good weekend,
I’ll leave the juicy bones of contention
for a coffee fueled rant next week.

It was a disappointment that gay-partnered folks still have to pay taxes on insurance to cover spouse onlike those entitled heteros. I wonder who managed to get the equalization pulled from the bill.
spouses should not be covered on someone’s insurance. gay or straight. it’s a RIDICULOUS concept.
whatever, i doubt it’s any different feeling than my childhood experiences of smuckers and ziploc.

That’s exactly what I mean. You’ve proven my point.
MM, your 3:08 post says it all. The health legislation is NOT perfect, but it goes a long way to creating a better, more rational system. And doing nothing for much longer would have been much worse for the country.

the only rational thing are gonna be the rations that are given out for quality care. quality care is gonna go right down the toilet!

I’ve never been to Dave & Buster’s either…Times Square is way too crowded! I’ll take my chances at the Atlantic Center Chuck E. Cheese 🙂

“Why Cobble Hill, btw?”
It seems a bit more of an outing (no homo) than walking one block to a place in Brooklyn Heights.
Thanks CGar, I was thinking about Lucali’s but also unsure when it’s open.
CGar–I agree with M4L–buy that 8th Street house.
