I started working on a paleontology degree after getting my anthro BA. I was the university’s paleo curator for a year and then left to come back to NYC. Always loved it- so this is really fascinating. But then, I’m the type who has to identify the fossils in the marble they put in lobbies and bathrooms. Found a piece of crinoid stem the other day- so exciting! (MM rolled her eyes at me.)
Sweat of people w/ asafoetida in their diets really stinks.
sweat is cool…unless you sweat so much that you pass out.

Yes, I played with dynamite. Not bad, Denton. Not only did that guy stink but he hated me. And he was a better ballplayer. I couldn’t win.

About an hour and a half, Pete.
what is the Streetlevel thread?
wake me when the Gutterlevel thread starts.
Interesting, legion, especially in light of the fact that Sasquatch and some of the others are always a Pacific Northwest phenomenon.
I thpought the reference to the Indonesian-discovered Homo sp. as “hobbit” was a bit demeaning!!!!
