“eny,
what’s that movie with Ben Stiller where’s he’s playing basketball and everyone’s sweating up a storm and then this super hairy dude who’s dripping with stink takes a jump shot only to come down against Stiller’s face in slow motion as the slime scrapes off all over his frown.”
Yeeeech!!! I don’t even remember the movie – in fact I didn’t see it, but I CLEARLY remember that scene. Ugh. I need a shower just thinking about it.
Last year, I was able to videotape what looks like a perigrine falcon enjoying the meal of a pigeon it just caught. I saw the falcon swoop in and catch the pigeon, but was only able to video the part where the predator was de-feathering and eating it’s prey. maybe I’ll put it on youtube.

When I was in law school in Boston I had a similar experience. I was walking around on sort of a non-date date with a girl I was interested in and we came across a hawk devouring a smaller bird on a window ledge maybe 20 feet above us. I was transfixed and insisted on staying to watch. She got pretty chilly towards me after that. I think she married an investment banker.
I made a jokey joke at the Parking by Atlantic Yards forum. I actually cracked myself up :o).
