Of the President and Pelosi and Reid pushing through legislation which the majority of Americans do not want?
As I’ve stated, they didn’t pass the Senate bill as required, they passed a reconciliation bill which is not the same because they couldn’t get enough of Democrats to back the Senate bill. So what do they do, they walk the constitutional line by passing a bill which now has to go back to the Senate for more amendment challenges.
face facts, the President, Pelosi and Reid are stopping at nothing to dupe the American people.
at some point you have to ask yourself, why did the social security act garner a good deal of Republican support? and the medicare act? yet this bill can’t even get passed on it’s own merits by enough democrats in congress.
Something is very wrong bxgrl, and all your partisan anger will not assuage that glaring fact.
Kens- I’m not calling legion a liar. He’s only repeating the Republican talking points- and i think this is the real issue. How we present our talking points. The Republicans will do anything, say anything to get back in power.
Legion says Obama will ruin the country. What does he think Bush did? So instead of electing another Republican,we elected the guy who we believe can begin to fix it. The Republicans refuse to accept the vote.
All this Republican whining about the Dems leading the country to rack and ruin is ludicrous. Bush cut taxes and then went on a spending spree. Even a 5 year old would know you can’t spend more than you bring in. So someone please explain to me the mental illness that afflicted the Bush Administration so that even the most basic economic theory escaped them. And let’s not get into foreign policy and our constitutional rights. And they still refuse to acknowledge or take responsibility.

Yes, free plane ride to their country. The amount of time that they stay here in detention varies state by state. NY is rather swift in sending them back.

Mmm, after this weekend, I think [hope and pray] we may see some of this soon.
-he managed to dupe the american people by stating that the bill would save money when we know that the “doctor fix” bill which will pe passed along side it, effectively puts the bill into the red. that means it will cost more money in the end.
-sad day for a pied piper leading the dems into ruin.

What is slightly more amazing is that the health insurers have used profits they’ve made by ripping off average Americans to buy PR and propaganda they are using to dupe average Americans into believing this is a bad thing.
