  1. I changed my mind. Apparently, I’m not done.

And the nannies don’t have health insurance.
And the nannies don’t have Social Security.
And the nannies don’t have unemployment insurance.
And the nannies don’t have sick days [well, sometimes they do, but it’s not guaranteed].
And the nannies don’t have other benefits you get along with YOUR regular paycheck.

It’s not as simple as you portray it, Rob. Yes, the people that pay the nannie’s should pay taxes, but don’t f*cking put it on the nannies. That’s just BULLSH*T as far as I’m concerned.

  2. “most polls have consistently shown that the country wants healthcare reform.”

The issue is healthcare reform in general vs this specific bill at this time.
Also, if you ask people ‘do you want x’ without asking about the cost or consequences, most people will answer ‘yes’.

  3. Dave, forgive my ignorance if I’m wrong, but I thought Contributory IRAs grew tax free, and then you paid the tax as when/you withdraw the funds, and I thought the point of ROTH IRAs was to pay the tax upfront so that the funds grow tax free and there’s no tax when/as you withdraw?

  4. bxgrl,

    here’s a recent poll,
12 point margin against this plan.

another poll out recently shows a large majority of doctors are against this plan.

Hell, the democratic congress is against this plan as it stands.lol

    bxgrl,
    who is demonizing here?

I’m just pointing out a blatant power grab by the President, Pelosi and Reid, without regard to the people.
you should be with me on this.

  5. “She and I feel a certain kinship as females (please- no rewrites. I know, I know)”

“There’s a name for you ladies, but it isn’t heard much in high society, outside of a kennel.”

    Dave???
