  1. “And the nannies don’t have health insurance. (they can buy it if they want. or they can get a real job)”

I pay for my own health insurance and I MUST HOLD MY TONGUE!

“And the nannies don’t have unemployment insurance. (oh boo hoo, what’s the worst that can happen? they scald themself with formula?”

They lose their job, can’t find another and can’t collect unemployment. That’s a major scalding from the formula. As a self employed person when the economy is slow as now, and work has dried up, you can’t collect unemployment.

    You know what:
Must resist getting into this argument.

    I’m gonna get some food.

  2. quote:
Rob – if you have a nanny, that means you have an extra working parent. No nanny means mom stays home and you don’t get the tax dollars.

    hmmm interesting point there! hahahah

i still think nannies, like brokers, are a drain on society tho.

  3. “it’s just that this 3000 page bill doesn’t address most of these reforms.”

    false

“It just expands government’s intervention into healthcare and undermines what is working in medicine.”

    false.

not even close to being accurate.

  4. Rob, do you even understand the benefits you receive at your place of employment? it seems to me that you do not. Go talk to the accountant and ask them if, for curiosity sake, to explain to you the VALUE of your benefits. FI you don’t want to talk to him/her, then go ask any recruiter or someone with more patience for you than me.
