  1. Legion, yes, having read a ton of books on The Beatles, I’ve heard that many times. Funny thing is, Paul McCartney tells the story of how Yoko was originally trying to get with him. I guess she was determined to get with a Beatle one way or the other.

  2. What would you think if I sang out of tune,
Would you stand up and walk out on me ?
Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song
And I’ll try not to sing out of key.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
(Does it worry you to be alone ?)
How do I feel by the end of the day,
(Are you sad because you’re on your own ?)

No, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

    Do you need anybody
    I need somebody to love
    Could it be anybody
    I want somebody to love.

Would you believe in a love at first sight
Yes, I’m certain that it happens all the time
What do you see when you turn out the light
    I can’t tell you but I know it’s mine,

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

    Do you need anybody
I just need someone to love
    Could it be anybody
    I want somebody to love.

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
with a little help from my friends.

  3. biff,

    speaking of thinking positive,
have you heard about how John met Yoko?

Yoko’s work was being exhibited at a gallery,
I think it was here in NYC,
So John, who was like the biggest personality
on the planet goes to look at the artwork
    after hours.

He sees one installation with a wooden ladder
leading up to the ceiling with a small paper
and a magnifying glass attached to the ceiling.

So he thinks to himself, what’s this all about?
He decides to climb up and check out what the
    paper says.

under the magnifying glass it said
    YES.

He said to himself right there he had to meet
the artist. If it had said NO he would have walked
right out and said F it.

At least that’s the way he told the story.
