  1. “Did a house fall on you BRG???”

No, I was able to fly away on my broom. I’m heading north and then northeast to expose my wrath on a few immoral beings who spew malarkey about me.

  2. Thanks BRG. By any chance do you have a job opening? I type fast and I can cook a mean dinner – grilled salmon with oven roasted garlic and lemon, sauteed spinach and brown basmati rice 🙂

(by the way fresh atlantic salmon is going for close to $16/lb YIKES. Fairway can blow it out their ditty-bag. I may have to fight my cat for the cans of tuna the next time i get a hankering for fish!)

  3. “hey what, enough with the threats, eh?
Lemme ask: Are you alone on the holidays (again)? If so, that’s no reason to threaten anyone.”

Who did I threaten? See here we go again. Stay out of this fight and mind your business! This is between Dave and Myself!

    Hey Dave ANSWER ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MMUUUUHHHAAHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

The What ( But.. But.. Dave told me the returns was around 17%)

Someday this hedge fund is gonna end…

  4. cobblehiller, I was asleep but it woke me up. I thought I was going to have to scramble to find some plywood and quickly board up the windows like they do in Florida every hurricane season (or so it seems). Then I realized I might need LPC approval to do that and turned over and went back to sleep.

  5. Oh wait – here it is – from Brownstoner November Archive:

    Now Open: Buttermilk Channel
    524 Court Street, Carroll Gardens; (718) 852-8490
“Ryan Angulo, who was chef de cuisine at The Stanton Social, is Buttermilk Channel’s executive chef. He makes his own pickles, cures his own bacon, and has otherwise devised a casual menu featuring things like chicken and waffles and duck meat loaf (take that, duck meatballs),” says Hugh Merwin for Gothamist.

  6. cobblehiller:
is it on Court Street? Or a side street near Frankie’s?
there are some good bars near there.

Ah, sorry FGF, it’s called Buttermilk something – Channel? I dunno. It’s on Court Street. Look in the November archive here, I think it opened just before Thanksgiving – and I bet they’re doing something for xmas.

There are a dozen bars within 6 – 10 blocks.

  7. “Anyone notice the wind gusts at around 1:30am? I seriously thought the windows were going to blow in. I’ve never heard wind like that before.”

Yeah, and everytime YOU (Biff) post, we notice the hot air blowing from your direction.

I was up working and thought the same re: windows. Seriously, it was very Spooky. The worst was when the tornado ripped through Bay Ridge last year. The noise from that was something I’d never heard before.
