  1. It is so sad what we turned our society into in this country. For the first time it seems that Americans are doing things right, for the first time in forever as a whole American households went down in personal debt, we are importing less disposable plastic items from overseas, we are actually keeping cars more more than two years. All these things should strengthen a country instead of sending it into a downward spiral.

What: I agree it would be a shame to see those areas of Fulton and Vanderbilt stay vacant because of out of control rents.

  2. Any ideas for New Years? I am hoping to find a nice prix-fixe in Fort G, Clinton/Cobble/Boerum Hill, Carroll G, or Park Slope local – that could spill over into drinks at a bar nearby.

“This is an Enron moment for hedge funds,” said Peter Rup, chief investment officer at New York-based hedge fund Orion Capital Management LLC, with $400 million in assets under management. “Regulation would be welcome, primarily from a trust standpoint.”

I don’t know if you Asshats got a handle on the Madoff meltdown. There were Charities and Businesses that imploded on the news that Madoff was a fraud. These places are “out of business” and those jobs will never be replaced.

Now Dave now that the CONfendance has been sucked out of the markets (No one trust Hedge Funds any more). How are you going to keep fueling the Mutant Asset Bubble? The MAB has implode and all asset classes are getting put to sleep. Come on Dave, come up with a good answer and no Ad- Homeim attacks, just the reasons why…
