When reading about the $50 billion Madoff hedge fund fraud, it hit me on the head: hedge fund redemptions at the end of this year are going to be absolutely huge, and that will mean a massive sell-off in global capital markets in the first quarter.

yeah cobblehiller. my wife wanted sushi after the birth and I was wishing i could have consulted with you about where to go. wandered through the snowstorm all the way to Smith street before I could find a sushi place that was open (the one on Atlantic and Clinton was not open yet). But we are doing great and my two year old hasn’t attacked the baby yet so that’s good.
