Hey PLUSAs! Thanks for all your good wishes this weekend, and Biff and Dave, thanks again for the OHs and drinks yesterday. I was a little nervous about the new job, so cocktails (no homo) starting Sunday at 1pm was just what I needed.

Didn’t have to be in until 9am today. Tomorrow begins my 7-8am arrival. Still I woke up at 4am today in anticipation.

So far, so good. The people in my group seriously couldn’t be nicer; the tech is great, particularly in comparison to what I’ve been used to for the past 2+ years; and, OMFG, the cafeteria left me speechless, seriously.

Arkady, I downloaded Opera to the BBerry, but I’m actually posting (while I wolf down lunch) from my desk.

Ringo, I’ll try and do a recap of the apartments later. Both were really nice. Loved everything about Hicks Street, especially the sunroom/home office and deck off the back, but it’s second floor, not parlor, and CDog can’t do those stairs. Lots of detail.

Willow Street was also very nice. Also lots of detail. Even the one, non-en-suite bath didn’t bother me. Though Dave thinks I should hold out for at least some outdoor space.
