ah. thanks.. ive just been calling doctors that are near my office, but it appears they have all gone the route of “boutique” practise :-/
i already know the docs that are probably in network are going to be quacks, i’ve gone to some before for other things, just as horrible and dumb as medicaid/medicare doctors probably.

I think most Dermos don’t accept many insurances anymore b/c they can make SO much more money shooting botox and whatnot into ladies’ faces and doing “extreme lasering” than checking to see if you have Eczema on your elbow
I can’t believe even you, benson, think that going into Iraq was an intelligent thing to do. All of bxgrl’s & MM’s rejoinders are absolutely spot-on. It was about the dumbest move that could’ve been made!

Rob- You’re going about the process backwards. Don’t try to find a doc that takes the insurance you have.
Instead, check with your insurance carrier to find out what Dermatologists are in your network.

rob, what insurance do you have??? Do you know how to search the site of the provider to find “in network” docs???
I go to Romano at St Vincents, one of the best in the city and he takes insurance.
DIBS, don’t believe 11217 needed your help there. think he prefers to issue the beat down solo – ie he’s loving it.
