Funny, Legion. At the London Playboy I was at a film party once – tarted up for me, meaning I was dressed as well as the average secretary going to work. Victor Lowndes – owner of the club – dashed over exclaiming about how wonderful I looked. The jaws of several glamorous film star ladies dressed in fabulous outfits dropped to the floor as they looked absolute daggers at me.
*rob*, I just looked at the link. The little dog is chipped, so they really should be able to find her.
*rob*, I HATE stories like that. That poor little dog. I really hope they find her. Today of all days for her to get lost. I have CDog chipped in case she ever runs (or gets nabbed), but my bigger fear is she’ll run right into traffic.
It was a bit past my prime & I was mainly downtown or in London then. Also, it was too self-consciously “hip” & artificial.
