I was so excited to hear Obama talk about the three things I think this country needs the most: Health care, jobs, and free higher education. I couldn’t believe it.
The people calling for lower taxes and less regulation are crazy. How do they think we got into this mess in the first place? They just want to be free to rob, steal, and cheat the rest of their countrymen.
I thought the good governor of Virginia did a good job of backing Obama up on half of his proposals. It was as if he hadn’t just listened to Obama’s speech, which he probably didn’t do. The other half was the same old “No, it won’t work”, without any constructive ideas about what would work. He didn’t commit political suicide like Bobby Jindal did, so I guess from that end of it, it was a successful speech. The commentators on 13 said that from now on, all State of the Union rebuttals will be in front of live hand picked audiences, so the camera can pan the crowd, instead of only focusing on the messenger, thereby lessening the general boredom. They were referring to both parties, too.
Noki, It was a fascinating train-wreck of a speech! Delivery was terrible, content was contradictory, and the location just blew my mind! What is this? Are they setting up a Banana Republic?!
BH said: “Interesting choice, was that one of the states in the Confederacy?”!!
And Cobble, I did and I have NO idea. Mark actually walked out of the room disgusted. I tried to stop him with my weak “hun, shouldn’t we watch? Don’t we need to understand?” To which he responded “God no. Can’t stomach it. If you want to know, read the front page of the Wall Street Journal tomorrow”. Done, and done.

Noki, Mark just needed an excuse to go watch the re-runs of Jersey Shore finale and didn’t want to tell you the truth.
If you were agreeing with me, CarGar, please re-write! 🙂
If not, well…..God don’t like ugly! 🙂
Thanks a lot, Chicken. As if I had nothing better or more to read today. 😉
I hate when that happens CGar!

Nice job, MM, I agree! [But you knew I would!]
Has anybody actually read the Supreme Court ruling?
