Cgar…if you’re going to have to move to JC then this is a no brainer.
If you’re that close to your boss’ boss, I’d have the conversation with him instead, especially after what you said about the obvious lie your boss told him and the facts about your resume.
But commute from brooklyn to JC?????? that’d be hell.
“My initial impression was that he was trying reeeaaaalllly hard to look cool, unruffled and confident about his/their message and that his opening joke about his boys fell flat.”
Yep, you got it, Noki. I was embarrassed for him, and the boys. They were squirming in their seats!
BH noted that, too. He was astounded when they kept panning to the black guy during key points.
What MM said! The republican response was safe. As someone said on one of the news sites, no one wanted to be a page in the Bobby Jindal Career Killer manual. It was muted and rehashed a lot of what Obama said. I love watching Michelle tell the chamber to sit down.

I suppose the worst that could happen is that I’ll end up taking a job in Toronto and bunking with etson!! (No homo)
We’re having a private lunch, lesbiman. Sorry, you’re not invited.
That is bold, clear, large font wall writing, CGar. All the signs align it seems.
Is that the one day they do a good job of looking after private data?
CGar;
I agree with Etson. Carpe Diem!
Sounds like you really want to take the new job, CGar.
Go for it!
