  1. jessi,

I don’t disagree with you on how difficult it is for mothers at large, high-billing law firms. Much to the contrary. I just think the right way for the partnership to put it is to be clear about work and commitment expectations, not to voice it in terms of don’t have a kid. Some women have made it work, although a lot of them staff up at home. Others exit at the appropriate time, like Michelle Obama. It’s a choice, but it is your choice whether to deal and how.

  2. “DH, get the wrong girl pregnant and you end up being her sugar daddy”

I know M4L – I’m very careful with my little hipsters

Oh I know LFW – i’m just saying if i happened to be betrothed to someone who has better career prospects than myself – i wouldn’t be above it.

I’d raise the shit outta those kids.

  3. DH, and being a stay at home dad is no easy task. It’s not eating bon bons all day and catching up with the soaps. You have a very curious little one(s) to look after at all time not to mention dealing with the constant wailing. You also will be the cook, the cleaner and have to make sure your suger momma’s suits and shirts are pressed every day.

I am down with that minus the cleaning since outside cleaning help is fairly cheap. I am also willing to do GTM Jersey Shore style(Gym, Tan, Laundry) to look good for my sugar mama :o)
