Garlic!! that’s what I was missing.
I’ll pass on the Parmesan cheese.
You cook the rice first?? I stuffed (raw rice mixture) the zucchinis and then cooked them. The rice was cooked, it just wasn’t tasty.
The online recipe I just found was Greek. Maybe the Greeks are doing it all wrong.
I’ll try again. It usually takes me a few tries before a recipe comes out good for me.
“The liquor shop at CostCo has a decent selection & excellent prices. You don’t have to be a CC member.”
I haven’t been to the Brooklyn one but I’ve noticed that at the one here in Jersey too. The selection is surprisingly good and the pricing is really low considering. Sometimes they have stuff that shocks me. As in, how why is this in Costco?
That’s Ruben’s @ Baltic. It’s also family owned. They have some good low-mid wines, but nothing very fancy. I don’t think they are very expert. That said, they are the NICEST people.
I’m doing my best with him and Brenda, etson. I was thinking a gathering at Sycamore when Chicken is here. Maybe over the holidays. Perhaps sixyears will be in town for the holidays. And Snark said he’ll come to another small gathering.
I love Heights Chateau on Atlantic, near Henry. Been going there for many years. They’re also great for making wine recommendations, especially if you’re looking for a bottle to drink with someone on their stoop.

“Do you make stuffed zucchini/peppers/cabbage?”
ET, if you’d like, my mother had an awesome stuffed cabbage recipe. Cobble’s gonna make it for Pesach.

Oh, and I add all the extra ingredients and saute them in with the beef before mixing it with the rice and stuffing it in.
I once saw a recipe that added allspice but that’s not to my liking in these kinda things. I would forgo the cinnamon as well and I love cinnamon.

I’ve just drawn on a moustache with my Sharpie, but everyone at the office is looking at me weird
There is also that other liquor store in Cobble Hill that is still entirely encased in bulletproof glass.
“I’ll take that one…..no to the left, yes that one”
