Have to take issue with your choice on “proving” schools are getting better, Legion. Son reading before 6? My son (and I’m a very proud parent) did not start until 6-3/4; one of his friends (a kindergarTen jock) was reading the Sports section of the NYT at 6. What does all that prove? Nothing.
