lol, I thought you’d like that Lennon reference. but even he understood that there were limits to societal changes while still maintining a viable free society.
funny story, on one of the recordings for Revolution, he substitutes “in”
for “out” in the line about “when you talk about destruction, …you can count me out.”
certainly, the government has a role in protecting and fostering society.the problem comes when government becomes so large that it’s inherent weight crushes our free spirit and abilities. or worse.
there was a reason, Solzhenitsyn wrote The Gulag Archipelago.

If capitalism is working so well, why did the gap between the rich and poor widen to the most since second WW? Why have real wages stagnated for 30 years?
This is just the “republican” brand of capitalism; deregulate, cut taxes, export jobs. Look at what it did to us. The middle class is tired of getting screwed by the rich. We need a second american revolution, NOW!
