Denton, they actually do.
Joe, without knowing who I work for, it’s kinda pointless for you to make statement on who is gullible. I gave up a pretty cushy job in corporate law because I really wanted to work for globally responsible company. We are NOT perfect as a company but I do enjoy here much more than for a law firm that made all those money and bonuses from Asset-Backed and Mortgage-Backed securities. Having said that, if I get laid off tomorrow and get an offer to go back to corporate law (which is a pretty good possibility for both) and I need to support myself, you better believe I’ll do it and won’t even think twice.

I ain’t knockin’ your hustle brother, just pointing out that your probably not saving the world.
“Do you all remember all the porn shops that were further up Lexington around where they built Citicorp????!!!!!! Fun times there.”
Yeah dibs, I remember that. I was especially cracked up by one of the porn stores that put a big sign in its window ‘we welcome our new neighbors at Citibank’.
CG, there was a whole male hustler thing going on in front of 909 & 919 3rd. Lotta runaway kids and such. Coupla years ago I got a letter published in the NYT about it. Don’t know if it’s still active. dibs? lol…
Tara, it was indeed me who invited you to join us that time at Union Hall. The topic here in the OT changes hourly. Vent, complain, celebrate, joke, whatever. Some days it’s all I read, others I avoid it.
hmmm maybe we should all demand free subsidized government healthcare plans for our pets too? why not!!! this is the land of the free! free stuff for everyone that is.
Joe good point. You should also cut and post about massive US ground beef recalls, spinach E. coli problems, etc etc. All that truth, better get started.
West 50s, yes, Arkady (and inquiring minds want to know how you know that). I don’t remember porn shops in the East 50s. Only the male prostitutes on 53rd, between 2nd and 3rd, north side of the street as I recall, but don’t ask me how I happen to know that. DeLepp, Waldorf-UN proximity makes a lot of sense.
