  1. was the problem that stemmed from the korean grocer drama because they took over bodegas and turned them into over-priced organic fauxdegas? im just asking. i didnt live in he city at the time and i guess ill be honest in saying id be mad too if my local bodega that i went to normally for cheap stuff turned into an overpriced fauxdega. that seems to be the norm these days.

  2. “CarGar, you better look out, Snappy looks like she is trying to wrench “most moving post””

Bodhi, I won in 2009. Snappy is now the leading contender for the 2010 PLUSA for “Most Touching Post”.

I haven’t been to Sedona yet, but I hear from friends and relatives that it is definitely worth the trip.

  3. Benson – Korean Boycott was disgusting, but Dinkins was just as silent during the Crown Heights Riots –

As for the “worst racial moment” in [modern]NYC history – I’d like to nominate Freddies Fashion Mart, thank you Al Sharpton

in history the Draft Riots make everything else in NYC look like pocket change.

  4. I gave up with Time Warner after they refused time and time again to install cable for us saying they couldn’t find our address in their system. I told them I’d wait outside and show them its real. No deal. Satellite turned out fine.

  5. Snappy, if you just put the flower in a shadow box; it’ll dry up and wilt and eventually fall off the stem. The leaves will turn brown and crumble and you’ll be left with nothing but dust.

Use the heavy book method. It works. I have a pressed rose from 15 years ago.

  6. “How about croquet?”

Croquet? Just what the doctor ordered: Drunk PLUSAs wielding mallets! Kickball it is. Flannel shirts and hoodies. Biff can have 88. The sign up sheet is in the OT Office, on Cobble’s desk. Details to follow when DH joins us.
