OK, we overlap some, legion. My taste starts around early Ellingon, but goes more modern than you — includes Dolphy, 70s loft scene, 80s to present mainstream and some experimental (not many republicans like that stuff 😉 ). I admire Wynton’s technique and smarts, but I’m not a big fan. Also, I appreciate Satchmo, but N’awlins style isn’t generally what I listen to. And, per your earlier post, I’m always happy to hear some classic boogaloo, but I need to learn the terrain better.
