People who know me have compared me (in terms of looks) with Eddie Murphy (years ago) and more recently, with Don Cheadle. I’m not a fan of Denzel. Good actor, but I don’t like “BMOC” types. Lawrence Fishburne is OK. He actually lives in Brooklyn.
I tend to think of Dave (although I’ve never met him) as a Claude Rains type. Without the class, that is.
I’m thinking Sean Penn, but Jewish for you Kens. (Or a much younger Kirk Douglas – hey! He’s Jewish!)
