ps. the bar doesn’t have a name. it’s underneath the restaurant named bond street.
“Darker” and “Loungier”, you say. Well, there’s the bar at Perry Street (Jean-Georges’ restaurant – food is good), but then we have the whole “chi chi” problem.
v bar isn’t loungey but it is totes dark. must have been a wicked flashbulb. i like the bar at bond street. it’s downstairs from the restaurant.
Biff, when I lived in the West Village, I used to frequent White Horse Tavern (Hudson, near Bank I think), Automatic Slims (Bank and Washington) and Tortilla Flats (West 12th and Greenwich or Washington). Don’t know much about a lot of the new places.
don’t get me started on how GROSS magnolia cupcakes are
Just saw V Bar pictures. Looking for something a bit darker and “loungier”.
CGups…no pool yet…yesterday I was in so much pain I spent most of the day looped out on vicodin just to keep from ripping my whole leg off. I’m gonna go see the doctor again tomorrow and hopefully start getting better.
M4L, I wish it would go ahead and rain. This heat is killing me (and my electric bill…energy star a.c. my @ss!)
